Beacon's heart is a unique, one mile long, Main Street  that is packed with things to do (restaurants, galleries, wine bars, distilleries, boutique shops, movie theater, yoga, gourmet store, and more) as well as home to the purveyors of what's needed for day-to-day living (groceries, dry cleaning, vet, post office, computer repair, etc.)
Beacon's Hudson River waterfront (made famous by resident Pete Seeger's Clearwater Sloop) and its extensive trails and parkland are loved by residents and attract visitors from around the world.
Last but not least, you can connect with New York City (or points North) via the MTA's Metro-North Commuter Railroad Line from the Beacon station.
